Signal Ridge Labs
Jason Ulbright
Systems engineer and independent software developer.

Signal Ridge Labs is a one-person software studio. I'm the person.
I work as a systems engineer, mostly in the Microsoft endpoint stack: MECM, PowerShell, application packaging, patching, and compliance for Windows fleets. I also build tools for that work, including packaging automation, health dashboards, compliance managers, and deployment helpers.
Outside of work, I build and maintain a few larger projects. One tracks half-staff proclamations from 52 government sources. Another is a browser music visualizer built with WebGPU and Web Audio. I also built the storefront and back office for my family's bakery.
I'm self-taught and tend to learn by building. AI-assisted development is one of the tools I use.
I live in North Carolina with my wife and our three kids.
